Established in 2010, we've had lots to celebrate. We had the opportunity to make cakes for celebrities, film and television. We've been published in PEOPLE magazine, and our wedding cakes have appeared in numerous publications such as Flare Magazine, Wedluxe, Real Weddings, Wedding Bells, and Vancouver Magazine to name a few.

Tanya Muller - Owner + Pastry Chef
I was interested in baking from a young age. I remember my Mom creating classic desserts from the 'Joy of Cooking,' such as Baked Alaska and Floating Island. I loved how creative baking could be and, of course, the delicious reward of eating whatever we made. When I was 18 years old, I enrolled in baking school. It was one of the best experiences of my life, I realized I had a true passion for pastry arts. For years I continue to learn as much as I could, traveling around the world learning from some of the best instructors. In 2010, Le Gateau Bakeshop was born. It a culmination of all my baking experience and desire to create gorgeous, delicious cakes. What I love about owning a bakery is that every day is different, with new challenges and success. I love getting to meet new people all the time and creating unique desserts.
